Four Internists, a Cardiologist and Two Nurse Practitioners Joining Graybill Effective April 1
Escondido, CA (February 16, 2016) – Graybill Medical Group, North San Diego County’s largest independent multi-specialty medical group, announced it is expanding its Internal Medicine roster by seven new physicians and practitioners effective April 1, 2016.
Joining Graybill will be board-certified internists Brian Meyerhoff, MD; Emmet Lee, MD; Rebecca Samuels, DO; and Indira Molai, MD; board-certified cardiologist Robert Stein, MD; and nurse practitioners Maura Dulski and Jenilyn Peros-Vidad. All are currently with Palomar Medical Group, a physician group practice in Escondido located at 625 E. Grand Avenue, and all will continue practicing from this location.
Internal Medicine physicians, or Internists, are primary care physicians who specialize in the diagnosis, treatment and care of adults, from wellness and prevention to chronic and complex illness. Cardiologists further specialize in the prevention and treatment of diseases of the heart and blood vessels. Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice registered nurses who work alongside physicians as primary and specialty health care providers.
“We’re excited to bring on board such a prestigious group of Internal Medicine Specialists,” said Graybill President Alejandro Paz, MD, MPH. “Their addition greatly expands our capacity to address the healthcare needs of adults, and especially, the elderly in the North San Diego County/Inland area.”
“Graybill’s commitment to high quality patient care and superior service align closely with the values on which Palomar Medical Group was founded back in 1964,” said Palomar Medical Group President, Brian Meyerhoff, MD. “As a larger group, Graybill has the resources to meet those challenges. Joining with them allows us to focus on what we do best: provide our patients with the medical care and service that they deserve.”
“While a lot is going on behind the scenes, Palomar Medical Group patients should notice little, if any, difference in the quality of care or service they are accustomed to receiving,” said Graybill Vice President of Operations, Sandy McInerney. “They can continue to see their doctors in the same offices and during the same times,” she added.
